- Oregano + chili flakes for garnish
Steps (No-Oven Pizza on Tawa)
- Make the Dough
- Mix all dry ingredients, then add warm water and oil.
- Knead well for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let it rest for 1 hour (till doubled).
- Shape the Pizza Base
- Roll out a ball of dough into a ½-inch-thick round.
- Prick lightly with a fork so it doesn’t puff up.
- Pre-Cook the Base
- Heat a tawa (or large pan) on low flame.
- Place the rolled dough and cook one side for 2 minutes until light golden.
- Flip and turn off the flame.
- Assemble the Pizza
- On the cooked side, spread the sauce evenly.
- Add cheese, toppings, and more cheese on top.
- Cook on the Tawa
- Place the pizza back on the tawa (uncooked side down).
- Cover with a lid.
- Cook on low flame for 10–12 minutes — until the cheese melts and base is golden brown.
- Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle oregano and chili flakes.
- Slice and enjoy your crispy-soft tawa pizza!
